Poster Presentation Information

Poster Session will run from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM in the Swope Center, 2nd floor.

Set-up will be on Saturday after session I, from 12:30 to 7:00 PM.

The maximum poster size is 42” wide by 60” tall.

At noon on Sunday, poster awards will be presented and a group photo taken. 

POSTER ABSTRACT - To upload a poster abstract on the NEIC website when you register, please check the appropriate box on the registration site and upload the requested information.  Please note that the person who submits the abstract should be the first author and the presenter. You can submit an abstract at the time you register or you can go back to the site at a later time and upload your abstract.  ABSTRACT DEADLINE IS SEPTEMBER 23. The word limit for abstracts - 250 words.

NEIC – New for 2018 – Poster Pitch Competition!

The submitters of 10 abstracts will be selected to compete in the Poster Pitch Session and have the opportunity describe the importance of their research and encourage the audience to visit their poster.  This is your opportunity to show your creative streak - prizes will be awarded!

Here are the conditions:

1. The time limit – 2 minutes

2. The number of presenters per pitch – one to all of authors on abstract.

3. Format – pitchline (enthusiastic description), song, limerick, haiku, sonnet, rap, skit or any other literary style.

4. Costumes allowed!
